AI Tools for Student Engagement

This course is designed for public school teachers to explore how AI tools can enhance student engagement by aligning with the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principle of engagement. Participants will engage in research, hands-on exploration, and practical implementation to understand how AI tools personalize learning, foster engagement, and support differentiation. The course culminates in a learning results portfolio that demonstrates teacher growth in knowledge, attitudes, skills, aspirations, and behaviors (KASAB), particularly in using AI tools to recruit interest, sustain effort, and foster self-regulation (UDL principle of engagement).
